Hi All
2022 has arrived and we are still deep into a pandemic. Mid Week Challenge was set up to encourage players of PG to meet up with other players of different skills and to play 9 holes against each other. One thing is certain there is no need for isolation because the game is played on a PC. With a added use of a programme called Discord we can speak with each other and it feels more fun than just playing solo.
The 9 holes are played using Stableford point system, that means you get just 1 point for a Bogey, 2 points for a Par, 3 points for a Bird and 4 points for an Eagle. The games start from the Back tee position to encourage higher scores and the points are carried on each week of the Month and at the end of the month the highest scorer becomes The Player of The Month and goes through to play in the Season final to get The Player of The Year.
My Challenge is to get more players into playing the Mid Week Game each week. Those that can will meet in Meet and Greet Room each Wednesday night to tee off at 7.45 UK Time. Others of different time scale meet up during the night and the competition usually closes some time after 10 am the next day.
So bring a player along because to play the game you need to enter the Tournaments as a two player game. (its quite simple to do one you have done it once.
At the moment we have between 10-20 playing each week, Can we get it to 50.
