The Best of Real And Payed for courses

Post by Seasider47 »

I quite understand why pay course are not used in tourneys and support that decision. But its frustrating when you have bought these courses that they dont get an airing in a competitive sense. So on the back of the success of Mid Week Challenge and Seasider seaside Challenge, I would like to set up a weekly game using the best real courses and including the payed for courses that many of you have.

Payed Courses Including Royal, Troon, Muifield Village, Bethseda, the Grove, PGA National, Devils Island and Innisbrook Copper Head

the Real Courses that could be use like Bethpage Black, Kissing Gate, Celtic Manor, florida glades and St Andrews
Other course suggested so far have been Firestone South, Cypress Point, Georgia Pines and Florida Palms

The games would be using PGLS9 Format as we do for SSC.

I need to know a few things from your now please

What night should I run the games (leaving out Wed and Thurs, Ideas for name of competion and what real courses you would like to see included, we could choose 20 courses to start with which would give us 40 games

What do u think?

Hi ... Seems like Saturday is a popular choce for this event.. My only concern is that saturday night is a quiet night on the site normally and a time when many go out socially. What I might do to start is to alternate between Monday and Saturday nights to see how it goes I would also run the game a little earlier on a Saturday (7pm BST) to allow players to join and then if they choose still go out afterwards. we will see how it goes. the game will be pgls9 format so will be available when and if you want it. please let me know what you think.
