I understand the difference between Solo and PGLS tournaments. Not my point. I thought it was strange that I was able to load the course outside of the PGLS tournament. Also as you said, some players can load and play Round 2, while others, like myself cannot.

Same here, 50% then stalls. Multiple attempts and multiple downloads of course and reinstall. Nada works.

The course size is 467 MB. That is not normal for a course that looks good but not spectecular once it has been loaded. I dont know where all that size comes from, no 3d grass or lots of objects or planting what I could see.
I dont think it is a graphic card issue, but the processor of your computer. Probably cant handle processing the file into memory and stalls at 50%

EDIT: Processor (CPU) is the brain of the computer and handles the most part of the calculations that goes on in a PC.

Every player who has sent me their output_log.txt file has had this error once the loading of Yardley Creek GC stops at 50% ...

Can I ask any of you to remove CourseForge in the following manner ...

Open up Steam to your "Library" and right click "Perfect Golf" ...

and select "Properties".

A window will appear with various options down the left. Click on "DLC".

Finally remove the tick against "Nicklaus Design Course Forge" then close the window.

This will cause "Perfect Golf" to update itself automatically. Once it has can you please try Skillz (CTP) Round 2 or Round 4 again and let me know how you get on.

Mark, followed that and PG did update itself when I unticked CForge. However, game still stuck at 50% load.

Okay thanks Tony. :good:

The issue has occurred with a player who has 16Gb RAM so it isn't that either. There is no consistency here.

Can you tell me what course folders you have got beginning with "Y" in the PG "Courses" folder please.

You should ONLY have

"yardley_creek_18_fnl4b" which is the Par 71 version of Yardley Creek.
"yardley_creek_gc_fnl3" which is the Par 54 (Par 3 holes) version of Yardley Creek.

Any other versions of these should be deleted from the PG "Courses" folder, especially the current issue with "yardley_creek_gc_fnl3" eg delete "yardley_creek_gc_fnl1" and/or ""yardley_creek_gc_fnl2" if you have them.

Mark, that worked, thanks. I removed yardley_creek_gc_fnl1, and now only have fnl3 and it loaded fully!
