Affo and everyone else: can you confirm the following: I was just playing tourney on user made course Zanesville, and the meter totally freaked out, like no consistency possible. On payware courses like sedgefield or royal birkdale it is smooth as butter! I have a pretty high end machine with a new Rtx card, and no matter what graphics settings I choose, I think it has to be course related issue as well??

I don`t know...some courses seem so poorly optimized, that consistent precision is not achievable. stutter fest

Same happens to me on every course, overclocked 4.5 ghz cpu 1080ti overclocked, when the meter runs very fluid I can hit the bottom over and over, this has not happened in months, now it's a lag on every shot you know what happens, you press the button right at the bottom and you know you pressed it dead on and there is like a tiny delay and it slices, then the next hole you press it early and there is no lag after the press and u hit a hook, then some holes you press it early and you know it should be hooking but there is a delay and you hit the line dead on, it's all over the place every week, the frame rate on some courses is caused by low GPU useage, sometimes the GPU is only at 30 - 40 % use and the frame rate is like 25 - 45 fps, in 30 years of playing golf games since I was 9 this is the most all over the place meter I have ever encountered, and I have played just about every golf game there is, Links 2003 was the same speed every shot, it's complete luck every swing.

have to agree, still getting little slides both late and like you said, when you click early yet it hits the snap! my saving grace is that I get the distances correct and can pitch, chip and putt. my driving stats have got worse and I am dialling it back to 100% (needed for the glen anyway!) rather than just going full power whenever possible due to low snap confidence.

wow i keep hearing this while in MP from others with meter troubles
i have none, it is really hard to understand when it does not effect everyone playing 3c
there has to be a common thread but what is it?

it is weird how there doesn't seem to be a common denominator. oh well, it is what it is, thankfully mine isn't as bad as others are reporting as I can still play the game fine, just more annoying than anything else...adds a degree of humanism to it I suppose, that swing that you didn't quite set up correctly or whatever!

here`s something you guys could try and see if it changes anything for the better: if you go to Perfect Golf game specific settings in the nvidia Control Panel, set the value for `Maximum Prerendered Frames` to 1. I seem to notice a quicker input reaction time for my mouse clicks.

I always use Speedtest to make sure my VPN is running full speed, max pre rendered frames is always set to 1, I never install Geforce Experience, I use Autoruns to disable all Nvidia telemetry which always installs itself after a new driver update even if you only install the driver + Physx also disable Ansel using Nvidia Driver Inspector, run Intelligent List Cleaner which stops windows hogging all ram by clearing the standby ram cache which is known to cause stutters, also disable GameBarPrescenceWriter which launches at the startup of any game you play, using an SSD, everything tweaked optimally, I have been overclocking and tweaking for many many years.

I have been told not to use Speedtest. It always uses the closest server to you and if I'm right it runs by Flash? Try this site:
https://speedof.me/
SpeedOf.Me is an HTML5 Internet speed test. No Flash or Java needed! It is the smartest and most accurate online bandwidth test. It works well on iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows and other mobile devices, as well as desktop computers.
