Altaedm your pretty much spot on and to be honest that won't change and we know it. Besides seeing that -60 will probably be the winning score this week in the main event what's the difference anyway.

No problem with controllers being included again in the main Tour events, the guys that play/want to play controller are good folk and trustworthy imho. Besides, anyone who wants to exploit it is only cheating themselves.

I play tour events not to compete against the top players but to see how I do against people of my similar skill level and to me with a controller at Pro level Par is a good score. We have lost a lot of players from the game due to this ban and it should never happened in the first place. Time to end it and let all play as they wish.

Gents: - I went through all of this because I did get pretty good with the controller, But never got to sub 60 scores, even now if I shot a decent score with three click - I get these question hey are you using a controller again - Guys its not going to work here!!
I have always had the upmost respect for Mark and his team of Mods. I don't think we need to put him through it again.
I don't have TGC - I tried it and its not for me. I will not go back to the controller here because I simply will not go through it again - it's a game on a pc to joke around with a few friends simple as that for me. I don't think we will ever get the players back that left for the controller reason.
I say we drop this and not put MARK through it again, I can't imagine the number of emails he received after the PG exploit was posted. I know for a fact that Greensboronclion, and Doggs are correct in their explanations of the difficulties in the short game.
My vote is NO - its not worth the hassle.
