In the end we had quite a mix of players who got to the final round, ranging from PGLS ranked no 1 to 143!!
POGO unfortunately couldn't keep his impressive form going but making it to the final round is an achievement on its own...Amateurs, it can be done!!
The rest of the 10 "finalists" included 5 from the PGLS top 20 and also Coach098 (49th) and Hilton (64th) who fought well but ended up jt 6th and jt8th respectively.
The top 4 were separated by just 1 shot with jspirate filling the 4th spot and congratulations go to :
SCOOPS100
AFFO
CUBBIES645
who all tied on a decent -5 for the Bethpage back 9.
So, after 2 events, cubbies it is 1 pt ahead of jspirate. They have a gap of 6pts to Tbone, but all still to play for with 8 more events. If you can get to the final round, then you can catch up quite quickly.
jspirate and cubbies645 are the only 2 players to have made the final round in both events...doesn't look like it will be the same old, same old each event after all..19 different players so far.
Event 3 at Crooked Stick is already up and running, time to get in that top 40 and ties....good luck everyone!
