Playing Caddyshack tourney on hole 9 I hit 2 times to the end of the first fairway
still on the fairway and it gave me OB both times, you may want to look into that J.H.

Yep that is the only hole I didn't like the OB area, even if you get into 1st cut right behind the FW it shouldn't be OB IMHO. But still: I love the course :D

i went back to see if i could get it to happen again, the ball has to be on the left side of the video to happen on the right side of the fairway
it plays normal. funny thing i hit a couple down in that valley and there was no OB on those.lol

Hello Dave,

Yep, the OOB markers are not placed correctly on hole 9.

The marker to the left of the first Fairway section by the Bridge is 15 yards before the end of that portion of Fairway and the marker to the right is in the Sand Trap to the right and in front of the Bridge. Any ball that passes this line on the Fairway will be ruled Out Of Bounds even though there is 15 - 20 yards more fairway past that line.

Need to reposition those two OOB Markers and change them out to Water Markers.

I also noticed a 4" x 4" x 10' (or so) piece of lumber floating flat about 15 feet off the ground to the right of the Bridge. Odd . . . It's shadow is what caught my attention to look up . . .

Imagehole 4 driveable sand trap by Jim Smyth, on Flickr

There is another problem I found but is MINOR !!! compared to what you all are talking about I believe the current download version of the course - on hole 4 which is a driveable par 4 if one gets into or gets close to this bunker it looks jacked up one can see underneath this terrain because I have the meshes surrounding this bunker (not shown) instead of how it is in this screenshot (in this screenshot its fixed) so this has been fixed so no one needs to take the time to mention it; however, this version with this bunker fix on hole 4 has not been uploaded yet. This fix will be included in the next upload after I fix the more important problem with hole 9. Point is there will be a new version upload coming and I will post it in this forum thread thing I think that is how it is suppose to be done ...

Ok here is hole 9
Imagehole 9 problem by Jim Smyth, on Flickr

This is a complete embarrassment and is an obvious problem. I completely missed this - doing various things to the course over a period of time this hole worked fine. When I finally completed the course I had an out of bounds area around the course and I had a lot, lot of unused re estate so I started deleting the points so move in the out of bounds so that it would go around the course on the outside somewhat close to the holes of the course rather than miles away. This extra re estate was on the opposite side of the course. So when I fixed this it changed this other side here this was never suppose to be like this and I missed it. Earlier for days the out of bounds was ONLY down into the deep canyon area ... but it automatically moved and I did not catch it

Imageout of bonds whole course by Jim Smyth, on Flickr

This is the current out of bounds and it needs to be fixed this pic also shows the red lines where the out of bonds was prior to the final compile of the 18 hole course I moved in the out of bounds without redrawing the entire thing (I should have redrew the entire thing . ) in moving it in I deleted various points - this at some point evidently moved the hole 9 out of bounds and screwed everybody up. I didn't get on the side of the hole 9 terrain area but did not check it either and missed it.
