I've made a suggestion to Mark on maybe a better fix. He probably won't see it for another 5 hours, so hold off on playing round 1, 3, and 4 for a day. Go play round 2.

The issue with Classics version is some computers hang at 50% loading, then don't load.

This applies to anyone playing the Continental this week. Go play round 2 first.

TBH the only problem with the course is people get tired of the load after 50% so they complain
I have played this course with people who have lower-end PCs and it still played for them.
I with a good PC still have to wait between a minute and a minute and a half for it to load after 50%.
just putting it back up would be the best idea, and if some won't wait for it to load let them have the other tourney
as you suggested to Mark.

It always takes a minute to load, but always does, but I have a pretty decent rig

That seems to be the issue - not everyone has a decent rig. Mid range laptops with graphics cards having 4Mb vram are iffy.

Who do we piss off? A half dozen with low end PCs, or everyone with the composite course greens? In today's climate, you'd piss off everyone equally - no favorites. Just kidding about that solution.

What seems like unnecessary drama is simple growing pains. I requested some significant changes to last years Tour, and Mark programed every single one into this year's Tour. Some bugs and hiccups pop up and he fixes them, with common sense and fairness to Tour members at heart.

Be patient, it'll get fixed.

It's no skin off my teeth to skip this week. Crap happens.

I find playing the course approach shots similar to planning out 18 trick shots, no matter what pins I set.

I would suggest a practice round before you hit Twin Warriors. It's 5200 feet. I finished -10, but only because I got some practice in there. I usually average around 300 a drive. I ended up with 332 and 1 drive going 385. In fact I hit a driver-5iron 15 feet over the green on a 630 yard hole, lol.

the issue with big courses that load slow. I think in the future
we should not dismiss using them. I know some don't have enough computer
to get them open in a timely manner and might have to skip a tourney every now and again due to poor performing computers.
but that is not on us it is on them for not keeping with the times. as it is now the folks who have gone the extra to keep up with the times
which are a much larger percentage of the players who are serious about having a great experience are getting put on the back burner while the few
are catered to who refuse to upgrade.

I chose to play this as one of my guest rounds, based on the courses shown when the selections were due. Before the start of the tour. Not only doesnn't it have the course that was the reason I chose it, but it also has a different course for round two, which was not disclosed ahead of time. The same for the American tour. Is it going to be like that the entire tour? Set a course...one course please...no more.
