Bob Fletcher, known by many as 'Fletch', and considered by many to have the same character as 'Fletch' from 'Porridge' lol. Worked for my local council in Torbay for 28 years before I realised there was more to life. Was a self-employed private investigator (I should write a book!!) for a few years (only threatened twice but I was bigger than both of 'em so no problem) but decided to change direction and became shop manager of a local post office. Did that for about ten years and really enjoyed it - even though most mornings I was getting up before 5am to supervise the delivery of newspapers. Had a few famous customers - Ray Reardon, the Krankies, actress Julia McKenzie, and Cassandra from Fools and Horses. Reluctantly resigned when the business was put up for sale. The missus and I decided to travel so for the past 16 months we've been touring France and Italy - seen some incredible places and met some lovely people, would do it all over again given the chance. Will be returning to Torquay shortly but we have more travel plans for the future.

Have three great sons, eldest is a nurse in London, next one is an engineer in Sydney, Australia, and the third has a music degree but is struggling to find a job in that particular field. Proud of them all!!

Played Jack Nicklaus - Golden Bear Challenge for over 15 years and found JNPG a couple of months ago - brilliant game, and this is a brilliant website!! Excuse me for being a bit chatty while playing - I like trying to be funny and hope it adds to, rather than detracts from, the experience!!

See you soon in the heavy rough!!

Hi I am Alex and all of my opponents are better than me.

I'm from Akron, Ohio and am 29 years old. Currently unemployed after 10 years in the golf industry. Life is good. I've been playing golf video games religiously since I was a youngster. JNPG has taken the reigns as my favorite, whereas NES Open Tournament Golf was my prior favorite. I grew up with NES Golf, Hotshots, Links, and have tried to play all golf games at least once (except for the later Tiger series.) I'd like to think I'm in the top 10 in the world at Wii Sports Golf.

I am a gamer by nature, if you don't find me on the JNPG links, you'll find my trying to score soccer goals with a rocket powered car, or reclaiming India from the nuke-loving Gandhi.

I haven't joined recently but don't seem to have posted..so here goes:

Andy is my name, lived all my 45 years so far in or around Poole in Dorset. Been married for 20 years and have 2 great kids both teenagers. Life is fairly quiet in my household, we all love being at home but I do enjoy going for walks. Miss playing sport, played football for about 28 years until the body said that's enough, played golf for a while until kids were born off of 16 and was a reasonable local cricketer managing to represent the mighty Dorset League a handful of times as a fast left armer who had an eye for cow corner!

Always enjoyed video games right from Commodore 64 days and golf games always seem to be around somewhere along with the yearly Football Manager (FM17 being the first year I have ever missed from the series, must be growing up, lol!). Leaderboard started it, then the various other games until Links took over for a few years and now JNPG. If I have any other spare time, the Xbox gets switched on or a Strategy/Simulation game is played, but never enough time now to get really into anythingany more :( .

Oh....I do like a stats too as if you hadn't guessed!

Enough from me, next.......

Hi, My name is Graham Fisher i come from Birmingham UK now living in Cornwall, retired some eighteen years just topped 80. Spent most of my working life in the print trade no regrets, my sporting activity when young involved athletics at Birchfield Harriers specialty distance running notable success was a mile time of four minutes and twenty six seconds way back1956 not a bad time then, I did national service in the R.O.A.C after serving an apprenticeship. Met my soul mate when seventeen we've been married for fifty six years, we both played Badminton for Birmingham Athletic Institute, great game played till i was fifty six, came to live in Cornwall some sixteen years ago, started playing Bowls for Helston Bowling Club (FLAT GREEN) the old man of the club now but i still try, also play indoor bowls at Newquay. My wife and myself have a passion for visiting France been nearly every year for the past Thirty or forty years. I played golf when younger had a hole in one on a two hundred an thirty five yard Par three 09/07/1980 still got the ball. 1993 saw my first computer Amiga got hooked on golf Leaderboard game Links was the preferred choice, remember downloading courses. It used to take for ever but was great fun, then along came Perfect Golf had problems with three click (think it was my age getting slower) changed to mouse swing much happier, been playing with real time swing it certainly is a challenge. The one thing which has made Perfect Golf for me was joining P.G.L.S how you guys find the time and dedication to run such a wonderful site is beyond me thanks a million.

Old folks do go on a bit apologizes for the length see you on the Tee! he-he.
Regards Graham

Hi Everybody - Simon Charman here, 48 yrs old living in West Sussex in the UK.

Used to play Links years ago, dabbled with TW from EA but didn't like it much. Extremely pleased when JNPG came out, excellent simulation of the great game, especially with RTSM.

I used to work in ATC, but had a career change and now a self employed gardener. Quite a change!

I try to play 'real' golf when time allows, but not often these days, unfortunately. When I was a member of a club I managed to get the handicap down to 12.

Good to hear from others and be able to put a real name to the usernames we always see.

All the best.
