I used FRAPS to see the framerate. And when video loads its like 400+, and then steady to 60 fps vsync.

I'll download a 1 year old driver or something and try

Tried the oldest windows 11 driver and same result

Well...... I guess I'll reinstall Windows 11. Since it has been acting like a test-version of Windows 11 sometimes.....

Especially when I couldn't find an option to turn off autocorrect and had to go to regedit:

When I installed Windows 11 I couldn't use the regular installer and I had use a bootable USB to get it in.

Might explain why electrical bill were €40 instead of €20 since february....

Oh well....... it's gonna be a long evening

Love the optimism of Windows...... just after you click "Remove all (Clean install) it says..... "This won't take long..."

There is nothing wrong. Splash screen in menu for some reason uses high rendering. Same for everybody, my 3080 runs in the 70% usage range there.

I wouldn't call this a clean install which I was hoping for :(

Well I reinstalled everything...... got myself a clean (or from what I can see) install of Windows 11......

I even removed "Perfect Golf" folder that were in Documents before I installed Steam....

Installed game...... sure enough.... gpu and power consumption on full when starting the game....

Where did it get my player from? I deleted the whole steam folder before reinstall?

This game has some voodoo going on in the background.......

You must have 1000+ fps in game then. Or you have vsync on. And still high power consumption?

Only have high power consumption in the main menu. When playing depends on course.
You mentioned the main menu, so I was trying to tell you that is the normal and you're not going to fix it re-installing everything.

I just noticed something really strange....

If I press Alt + Enter to enter windowed mode, or I run the game in windowed mode from settings screen... GPU drops to around 40-50%....

Shouldn't be the opposite around??

I would hate having that window bar on top
