You hit your tee shot out of bounds and instead of playing on you just quit the game and started again knowing you would shoot a better score for that hole if you just restarted instead.
I thuoht the penalty stroke only applied if you had connection problems during the game but you didn't.
You should be kicked out of the event for cheating.

no the penalty system was brought in to stop cheating and it works....look at my scorecard for that round and youll see 1 ps added.......not because of connection problems it also works if you just quit playing with post screen up....i wanted to warn others about the oobs so i started a solo match were i could screenshot the problem..i couldnt do that while playing the tourney.......i shouldnt have bothered and just played on.....

Briso he didn't cheat. Penalty strokes are added for disconnects, if the game doesn't offer a drop zone but not for rehits. Not sure which Mark did but being an administrator, I would classify his actions as not cheating in any way.

He disconnected on purpose because he might have hit a big score on that hole.

It was easier for him to restart and just get a one stroke penalty.

It,s still cheating.

NIBNOB wrote: Sat Sep 17, 2022 4:37 pm ive pm mark to add another penalty.....if i hadnt dropped to make this post then i would have rehit from tee then chipping in for a 4......when i resumed scoring 2 + 1 penalty ....so i need another shot took off......guess i shouldnt have made the post

no i wouldnt call it cheating......usually the penalty stroke system works out right but in this case with me getting lucky chip in it hasnt so thx for flagging this up as i hate cheats and would rather quit than win that way.....

cheers
At the request of NIBNOB I have added another penalty stroke.
