I've tried playing Ballyneal 3 times now and get stuck at 50% until it kicks me back to lobby. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the course but the same happens. Shouldn't a different course be used if this course has known issues? I hate to miss a week just because of a problem the course has.

I keep having to play hole one twice, round one and three i had to play hole one twice and recorded one score ! makes it hard to score well when you are +2 to +5 after first hole. eff it all, so frustrating, all my try hard is now gone.

You may need to give it some time... how long doyou wait at 50% load ?
I know it took approx 20 seconds plus, using my 8gb ram... so what sort of system are you running - do you know?

Well, as you can see in this thread, I cannot confess to playing this course without incident either.. it is one that seriously pushes the low memory pc's..

Let's hope next weeks event is a little less taxing on our pc's..!

To give anyone an idea on what is used CPU / GPU wise ...

NVidia 970GTX card, memory used with PG closed 380Mb RAM used, PG open with Ballymore course loaded. 1.6Gb RAM used

PC RAM usage jumped from 826Mb to 2.0Gb with PG open and Ballymore course loaded.

Mark,

So what does that mean for us playing it? I have a Nvidea 970 also with 16gb ram. I can't see that not being able to run it.

For us players with a high spec PC eg CPU and RAM, nothing, it will work well.

I was trying to point out the jumps ...

1.22Gb in RAM usage and 1.2Gb GPU (Video) usage. They are big jumps.

Maybe my CPU is the bottleneck? Is PG more of a cpu draining game or gpu?

The CPU shouldn't be the issue but having at least 8Gb RAM is a must and a half decent video card (GPU).

has nothing to do with my PC specs, it is well above anything this game can touch. It is a game issue with the focus of the continue/replay menu after a shot. If it loses control focus the game glitches shot count, and or restarts hole without current shot reset. It has only happened while playing in tourney so i will assume it has to do with the Application Program Interface.
