Something, new, just need to get head round things.

The event format is you and your partner, alternating shots, so you do both have to be there. You play with your chosen partner and for the PairUp event for the remainder of the week, you and your partner play the four rounds of competition (36 holes) together. You have no other requirement to play with your PairUp partner in any other events, and at the end of the week of competition, you are free to choose any other partner for the next week's competition. The points gained by the pairing are split 50/50, so you both walk away with the spoils of battle and can continue in the next event with another player without losing anything.

The format is Alt Shot Stroke Play so yes you have to play together in the tourney. However you don't need to find another pairing to play along with as this tourney can be played with 1 - 4 teams.

You are only linked together for the duration of 1 tour. On the next tour you can pair up with any player you wish. This is why the 'Order of Merit' points are given out individually based on your PGLS Level when a tourney finishes.

Thanks Daz... that for me, was the best description of what this is...

With all the Tournaments available, none are required to play with another player. They are optional.... but not required. So this Pairup is not optional, it is required....

Well I can't argue with that as it is a Alternate shot tourney

I want to make sure I understand this correctly.

My partner and I play our alt-shot round by ourselves, and our score is uploaded to the leaderboard automatically.
We don't have to play against another team.

Just tried to set this up with two players, and the game wouldn't let me start, said "game requirements are not met".
How do you set up the Alt Shot Stroke Play for just two players?

You can play it with 1 - 4 teams Warren, so yes your team can play on its own and you will be added to the leader board after it completes.

Warren, make sure both players are using the same team colour.
