Personal medal tables are available already via "Personal page" ...
personal_page.php
which is why this won't be added.

I know about the personal medal table that shows your individual medals.....but its just a collection, with no real meaning after so many years....
where as a leaderboard shows everyones medals, across all tourneys, mite be more exciting.....the more tourneys you enter the more medal you could get....
just a thought

If we were to implement a medal leaderboard, we might consider giving it a periodic reset (similar to what we do with order of merit points) or a "time horizon" where we only count medals earned in, say, the last year. An all-time list would likely be dominated by a few players who have been playing longest and win most often, and anyone new (or who only started playing more recently) would have little hope of breaking into the top ranks.
There is also the element of tiers and tier movements. We have few enough active Amateurs that those players have a good chance of winning just by showing up and playing all the rounds, whereas Pro and Tour Pro are much more competitive. Should we be worried that players may attempt to "game the system" to earn more medals? Perhaps any system of ranking players by medal count could factor in what tier they were playing when they earned them. How feasible is it to recover that information for players who have been active for years and had tier movements during that time?

Archives go back to July 2016 for the PGA 9 as an example, being the first API tourney at PGLS.
