-16 you say lol i would pay to watch, as a controller noob even with a straight shooting pad i wager you would struggle to break par.

I'm just thankful for having a place to play. i do like a little competition but I'm also a realist about my ability. Yes I will improve but the margin is probably not that big. I use to play on the JN6 tours, and watched it dwindle away, so people coming in and swelling the numbers here imo is a good thing. Now it's done hopefully we accept it and move forward together.

I use RTS-H swing but would be very happy to welcome controller users back into the fold. We can already view leader boards as overall or specific difficulty levels, so being able to view them according to swing type should address any lingering issues anyone might have about about which swing is easier/harder etc etc. On a side note, didn't realise you could already view PGA18 according to swing type and was surprised to see how relatively few use the various mouse swings.

The grouping of those swing types is going to change into the 3 groups we use for scorecards. Namely …

Click (Swing Meter Pointer, Swing Meter)
Mouse (Motion Swing, Motion Swing Horizontal, Real Time Swing Mouse, Real Time Swing Horizontal)
Controller (Real Time Swing Controller)

Cool, means the leaderboards replicate the icons on the scorecards, keeps it simple and means the mouse and controller leaderboards will be better populated.

I have tried playing with others but not my cup of tea as I play video golf like real life golf fast and have no desire to sit there forever waiting for my opponents to hit. Nothing against it but much rather going solo and playing 18 fast and for the record my friends and I can play 18 IRL in 3 1/2 hours and that's not the norm at most golf courses today. As for video golf 18 takes me about 35 to 40 minutes and if I am playing with others that easily doubles. To many other things to do in life that I like to do.

If PG had simultaneous play like tiger woods and PGA 2000 had i would love to play with people, but the last game i played online took two hours and i cannot commit to that in one sitting. It's a shame it has to be like that and i totally get Terbal's point, golf is generally a sociable activity and it should be no different here, i play two real life rounds a week and i cannot spend that much time with this also.

A lot of lobby games are set for nine taking into consideration 18 takes too long , with decent paced players a 9 hole stroke with 3 players can take as little as 30-40 mins . These are the type i like to play with regular head to head golfers and they are good fun and not that long of a chore. Give it a try most of the time they are seriously good fun
