Forgot to mention the alt 9 is possibly the best lobby game to play .IF all playing are just intrested in a bit of friendly golfing fun and banter. Some of you guys that just play tours should try it.

I know the current events are only a day and a half in...but unless the leaderboard isn't quite working correctly..I see no rounds completed using a Controller for PGA9/18 or Stableford yet?
If you are a Controller user and have played a round, please let us know.
Thank you.

I would guess there was less than 1% of the total player base that used the controller to play this game before.

I just returned from a month in Maine and will play my first round tomorrow. I will get all four in this week and next week I will play PGA 9 also.

Round 1 complete and shot 78 at pro level. I hit 78% of fairways and 55% of greens and averaged 273 off the tee and that is key as I used the Caliber ball for control and I really didn't venture over 100& swing. If I used the Avent ball and over swung I would have averaged over 300 yards but not hit many greens or fairways and that is why you cant overswing and must use the Caliber ball playing RTS. Also I had 34 putts and one 4 putt from about 15 ft so the putting as always is very tough. All and all a good round at that course and lots of fun and glad to be using a controller again in tournament play and I used the Xbox 360 wired controller for the round and will continue to use it as its the best for this game IMHO. Again very glad to be back playing events this way.

Just played my 1st round since returning to PGLS, I really enjoyed it listening to Peter Allis and co. forgot that you could use that feature. As for my golf it was dreadful, could not get my head around the putting, driving I was losing distance because I was using the golf club swing, stopping at the top for the tempo. I will need a lot more practice if I am trying to compete

Played the PGA 18 and shot 78-74-77-74 and was struggling with putting but getting better. It was good to be back even tho I was not really competitive in the event. Par is the goal right now.

Ok i'm gonna try and get back on tour this week, played my first round PGA 9 and happy enough with -2 ( 3 birds and 1 drop ) Got my swing honed ok but i'm off the curve with putting and chipping at the moment. Prob not gonna have the time to play every week on the PGA 18 but should get the 9's done, nice to be back!
