Introducing your next PG Classic Course Pine Valley G C

Starting 00.00 26/09/18 Ending 23.59 8/10/18

Pine Valley Golf Club is a golf course in Pine Valley, Camden County, in southern New Jersey. It was ranked the number one course in Golf Magazine's 100 Top Courses in the U.S. and the World in 2012, and 2015. It is a private club, and non-members can play only if invited and accompanied by a member.

George Crump & H.S. Colt (1918)/Hugh Wilson & Alan Wilson (A.4 1921)/William Flynn (R. 1929)/Perry Maxwell (R. 1933)/Tom Fazio (R. 1989, 2003, 2009, 2015)

A genuine original, its unique character forged from the sandy pine barrens of southwest Jersey. Founder George Crump had help from now-legendary architects H.S. Colt, A.W. Tillinghast, George C. Thomas Jr. and Walter Travis. Hugh Wilson (of Merion fame) and his brother Alan finished the job. Pine Valley blends all three schools of golf design – penal, heroic and strategic – throughout the course, often times on a single hole. New tree removal at selected spots have revealed some gorgeous views of the sandy landscape upon which the course is routed.

Introducing your next PG Classic Course Royal Troon (Pay to Play course)

Located in Troon on the west coast of Scotland overlooking the Isle of Arran, Royal Troon Golf Club is one of the great links courses in Scotland and plays host to The Open Championship.

Beginning with the seventh, the Old Course turns further inland, while simultaneously changing direction, on each of its next six holes, among hillier dunes and thicker vegetation, including gorse and whins, to severely punish offline shots. This sector, with two blind tee shots on the tenth and 11th, marks a sharp rise in difficulty from the opening holes.

With the 13th hole, the player turns northwards for a long, very stern finish, running parallel to the opening stretch. This comprises three long par 4s, two tough par 3s, and a challenging par 5 (the 16th) with its fairway bisected at the halfway point by a ditch, which can only very rarely be carried from the tee. The player very often has to face a strong prevailing wind.

Famous holes

Royal Troon is home to both the longest and shortest holes in Open Championship golf. Regarded as one of the top holes in the world, the par-3 8th hole ("Postage Stamp") measures a scant 123 yards (112 m), but its diminutive green measures a mere 2,635 square feet (293 sq yd; 245m2).Two holes earlier, the par-5 6th ("Turnberry") extends to a lengthy 601 yards (550 m).

The 11th hole ("The Railway") is one of the most difficult holes in major championship golf.[8] Now a long par-4, a blind tee shot has a long carry over gorse with out of bounds all along the railway on the right. The lengthy approach shot is to a small green that falls away, with nearby out of bounds.

Introducing our next PG Classic Course St Andrews 'The Old Course

Starts 00.00 07/11/18 to 23.59 19/11/18

For more than 600 years St Andrews Links has felt the tread of every great champion and flinched as millions of golfers have hammered and hacked, swatted and swiped at balls of wood, leather, gutta percha and balata. It has felt the caress of hickory and the sharp assault of blades of steel and titanium. It is a living, breathing timeline with each and every single person who walks upon it an integral part of our history, our love and our passion for this place. Write your own History at the Home of Golf.

The Old Course at St Andrews is considered by many to be the "home of golf" because the sport was first played on the Links at St Andrews in the early 15th century.[4] Golf was becoming increasingly popular in Scotland until in 1457, when James II of Scotland banned golf because he felt that young men were playing too much golf instead of practicing their archery.[4] The ban was upheld by the following kings of Scotland until 1502, when King James IV became a golfer himself and removed the ban.

Introducing our next PG Classic Course Valhalla GC Starts 00.00 21/11/18 to 23.59 to 3/12/18

Valhalla, the great hall described in Norse mythology where the souls of Vikings feasted and celebrated with the gods, is now the namesake of a modern paradise for championship golf. Valhalla Golf Club is the culmination of Dwight Gahm's dream to build a world-class course capable of hosting a major golf championship. It is also the culmination of a history-making partnership bringing championship golf to Louisville on a recurring schedule and resulted in The PGA of America's first owned championship site.

For Dwight Gahm (pronounced "Game"), a prominent Louisville business leader and golf enthusiast, that dream - the creation of a traditional "golf-only" facility with an outstanding championship course that would host a world-class championship event - began in 1981.

Mr. Gahm and his three sons - Walt, Gordy and Phil - commissioned Jack Nicklaus to build a private golf facility on 486 acres of rolling Kentucky terrain that would provide its members with the highest level of service. With Nicklaus’ vision, it would be the caliber of facility that could host a major championship comfortably and provide the members with an incredible golf haven. Nicklaus, described the site in 1983 as a "golf designer's dream because there is a variety of terrain, vegetation and water to work with. Everything necessary for an excellent golf course is here: room for wide, tree lined fairways and spectacular golf holes." In the spring of 1984, after considering 40 potential course routings, construction began and the final product opened for play in June of 1986.

Introducing our next PG Course Pebble Beach Golf Club

Starts 00.00 5/12/18 ends 17/12/18

When choosing the worlds top real courses to play in our classics how could you leave out Pebble Beach, probably the most dramatic course in the world and certainly the most well known.

Play the No. 1 Public Golf Course in America

Why is Pebble Beach Golf Links unanimously rated the No. 1 Public Course in the Country? Is it the prestigious championship pedigree? Pebble Beach will host its sixth U.S. Open in 2019, and its fifth U.S. Amateur in 2018. Is it the star-studded history? Pebble Beach has hosted a PGA TOUR event since 1947, rolling out its green-carpet fairways not just for the game’s best golfers, but also Hall-of-Fame athletes and Hollywood stars. Is it the breathtaking beauty? No. 4 tees off a stretch of seven stunning seaside holes perched atop dramatic cliffs, and Pebble Beach finishes with two of the most beautiful holes in golf. Is it the course design and strategy? Pebble Beach features some of the most famous par-3s (No. 7), par-4s (No. 8) and par-5s (No. 18) in golf, not to mention the picturesque but perilous Cliffs of Doom, and plenty of heroic shot-making opportunities.

Introducing our next PG Classic course Dancing Rabbit Starts 00.00 16/01/19 Ends 23.59 28/01/19

Nestled among the towering pines and oak forests in the rolling hills of east central Mississippi is one of the southeast’s most acclaimed golf clubs - Dancing Rabbit Golf Club, which is conveniently located next to Dancing Rabbit inn.

Within this lush environment are two award-winning, par-72 courses, the Azaleas and the Oaks. Combined, the courses encompass more than 700 acres over five miles of meandering spring-fed streams - an exquisite setting that accentuates the beauty of the courses while adding to the difficulty of play. Each course covers 7,000 yards from the championship tees and offers five different sets of tees to accommodate every level of play.

Both courses were created by acclaimed golf course designer Tom Fazio and PGA great Jerry Pate. The Oaks Course features Zoysia fairways and Champion Bermuda grass greens, while the Azaleas Course features Bermuda fairways and A4 Bent grass greens. Most importantly, both courses have managed to preserve the character and grandeur of the great Southern woodlands from which they were masterfully carved
