OK - so you're in luck. The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship was moved to 30 September 2021. It's format is similar to the Pebble Beach AT&T in that it's played on three different courses. R1 is St. Andrews Old, R2 is Carnoustie, and R3 is Kingsbarns, with R4 back at St. Andrews Old.

Best of both options.

Brings me to another topic - tournaments that use multiple courses. Why can't we use the above mentioned, or Pebble, Spyglass, and Spanish Bay for the AT&T? I'll flesh this out more.

So I'm close to posting the initial American and Continental Schedules. Most of the real courses have been playtested already. The replacements are the ones that need to be tested under tournament type conditions.

A few of us have been looking to play more 2v2 alt shot rounds. This might be the way to combine two goals. Four sets of eyes looking at a course's playability is better the a single tester. Use the schedule's replacement courses to set up 1v1 or 2v2 matches, then report back here any anomalies.

Dave, I'm counting on you to go on several "walkabouts" through the bush to look for unfair landing spots. jk

Attached is the first cut at the American and Continental schedules. The Continental is mostly last years schedule, but I figure they will go back to most of the same tournaments. Will need to swap around dates when the official schedule comes out.

These are my first choice courses for both schedules, all 103 of them:
There are 47 total events (weeks) for each tour; 37 Regular + 10 Crossover Events.
There are 3 Legs (Spring, Summer, and Fall) to each tour, with each Leg ending in a Crossover Event (Major, WGC, Olympics, or Ryder).
Each Leg will have a winner, and there will be an overall Season winner.

There are 52 courses used on the American schedule, with 44 Real and 8 Fictional.
There are 51 courses on the Continental schedule, with 44 Real and 7 Fictional.

Most of the courses on the Continental don't exist, so I went for playability first, then a similar look. Spain, Portugal, and Italy look similar to California; the Middle East looks a lot like Florida; Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Netherlands look like the Ohio area; and Asia resembles Texas of all places. Mexico City is high altitude, so I used The Preserve at Stanley Lake (5357 ft).

I saved Shadowlands and Crystal Pines as backup replacements.

Edit: already see 1 duplicate. Changing the Sheshan International event from Pasatiempo to Shadowlands.
Royal Desert Palms looks very much like the Finals at Dubai, but FPS are ~20 on first few holes.
The Irish Open is now at Portstewart GC. We have this course: The Strand. Replaces Royal Porthcawl.

Next up - the format for the season ending Crossover, event 47.

Edit: Mark is still deciding about the bolded (above). The three leg season is a lot of work on his part to set up.

Question:

The 2021 Season ending crossover event (last on schedule) is slated for 25 November 2021 (Thanksgiving day). Is that a problem, or does the date need to be shifted back a week?

looking over your picks, they look good, and thanks for not putting so many fantasy courses in.
as for the courses you have the x on to be tested I have played a lot of these multiply times and can't
remember of any bad places on them they are mostly all well-played courses and I have not read any complaints in either of the forums on most.
will look further tomorrow and do some testing and let you know if I find anything.
