Not sure if I have not done something I should have done but I cannot see the SA Open in the public events tab (Continenetal Tour) or its counterpart on the US Tour either. I have selected Guest events (for American Tour) for legs 2 and 3 as I was too late for leg1 but that is not the problem. Do I need to re-register somewhere to play my home (continental tour)? I can see all other events that I am registered for on 'My Tour' but not, as I say, the continental tour which started 7th January. And yes I have scrolled all the way down but nada. I see that this was an issue for some/many a couple of days ago so I will await further instructions

If you let me know which weeks you want for Leg 1 I can add them. Currently you didn't confirm your selections at all for Leg 1 which was available to do up until it started on Thursday.

I've now added those and you should now be able to see the PGLS Tours in-game.

I have a question. Before the season started, we were required to choose three 'guest' courses from the opposite tour. Do we HAVE to play three rounds on the other tour? I just finished with the first guest tour. The course was changed, and an additional course was added that was not disclosed before I chose that guest round. Also, if that was stimp 12, I have a bridge for sale in the desert if anyone is interested. 34 putts. I'm not one of the big shots here, but I know how to play. That course was just impossible to play with the wind I got stuck with, and the green speeds. Less than 40% greens in regulation, and less than 50% fairways, and I had a decent snap the whole game. If its possible, I don't want to play any more European tour events.

The course was changed literally hours before the Week it was played in was due to start. On paper it was the same course but it turns out there were rather a lot of differences between the two.

The original course was known to cause issues for players with lower end devices, where the loading of the course got stuck at 50% and caused PG to crash. This was added to the PGLS Course notes but it wasn't spotted for various reasons, which have since been rectified. The issues are listed here ...

This course was an exception and we live and learn. I don't expect there to be any further issues with other courses regardless of their location.

Don't forget - Leg2 of the PGLS Tour starts after the Masters (next week).

Any adjustments to your Tour for your Leg2 schedule can be made up until the time it opens. :good:

So I want to put forth an idea for next year's PGLS Tour now so we can get some feedback over the next few months.

The current American Tour pin locations are placed using info. from the PGA Tour website, and are based on last years pins ( if you haven't noticed).
For example, this weeks Harbour Town Links pins are from the 2020 tournament (https://www.pgatour.com/competition/202 ... tions.html). If we wanted to use this years pins, I would have to wait until Sunday, when the tournament is almost over, to see these pin choices.

So my idea is to move the start of each tournament week to Monday at midnight BST, and end on Saturday at midnight BST. This would allow us to use current pin and weather conditions to better mimic the actual PGA tournament.

Comments welcome.

John

On all the tournament I set I just type in 10 day weather forecast for the course on the day I am setting the tour. So if the tour starts on the thursday I have the weather for the 4 days the tour runs and a few days after just in case the weather is extreme. For myself I like the tour starting on a thursday when no other tours are running, I like to play the PGLS tour first over the next 2-3 days and then go on to other tours like PGA18 and 9. This week I played the Masters along with the televised version afterwards. Its fun that way so I hope it stays as it is but with the forecast for the forth coming weekends game.
