GTX 1070 FTW vs. GTX 970 SSC

Both benchmarks were run on screen resolution 1920 x 1080. I am quite happy to see these results, considering I was able to purchase the 1070 for less than 450 dollars USD. Now have two 970 SSC as backups for this system and another system in our TV room. If you have a 960 or less powerful graphics card the GTX 1070 FTW 8GB is a huge upgrade in video quality. No bottle-neck with i5 series processors (socket 1150 DDR3) or (socket 1151 DDR4).
3DMARK which has several benchmarking tests is available at Steam for just a few bucks. http://store.steampowered.com/app/223850/
Most of us with single video cards should use the Fire Strike test. Multiple video cards would use the Fire Strike Extreme test.
