Reading Country Club by RBarley has been added to the PGLS Courses database ...

pgcourses.php?id=581

Some notes from RBarley ...
It's a real course and I've played it many times myself. So it's pretty accurate for the looks of the course. I've done most of the play testing myself so I may have missed something that others may find. I'm not releasing this a beta, but finished course. If any feedback would be sent to me I may update changes at a later date. The only thing that might be pointed out is the water planes. I had to overlap a few to make them work. I've made most of the models myself except the clubhouse. I had a friend make that for me. I made 26 building & houses, 2 sheds, and 3 bridges. I do have some other real courses on the drawing board to make and release.

Reading CC is a lovely looking and playing course addition to PG. Many thanks to RBarley :good:

I can't seem to hear any sounds (nature, wind etc) when I play it though, which is a little puzzing ?

I did not include sounds on this course because of some complaints on a few of my previous courses. I was even told that most players even turn of the sounds. The default sound is ambient trees that is included in course forge. If I do any updates to this course in the future I may add it depending on any future comments about it.

I was able to download this course without any problem but when I tried to copy it into the COURSES folder for Perfect Golf it copied close to the finish and then came up with AN UNEXPECTED ERROR and wouldn't complete. No problem with any other course I've downloaded and installed.
Running Windows 11 PC.

Anybody else had this issue? Any clues?

Try copying the folder to your desktop to test it works firstly. If that's okay can you give me the full path to your courses folder eg "d:\Steam\Perfect Golf\Courses" etc.

Copied the folder to the desktop then to the courses folder and it copied ok this time. But despite the fact that the files are there it doesn't show up in game menu selection of courses.

Courses folder is - c:/Program Files (x86)/steam/steamapps/common/Perfect Golf/Courses

That could mean an extra folder. Check your courses with my PGLS Courses Checker utility ...

That's the answer I get from PGLS Courses Checker

reading_cc_pa_lidar_scene : Required course files missing (.unity3d)

Looks like somehow I am missing the .unity3d file ??

I've just checked the zip file and there are 5 files in the folder as there should be. The .unity3d file is one of them.

I would overwrite the contents of the folder.
