I think this will be how this game dies....PP down.....no server....and if your not friends then you wont be able to play with anyone else.....i think we should add each other to each others friends list just incase...that way you can still join anothers game.....just a thought...

I sent an email to "Andrew" the PG owner offering to buy this game but so far no response. My son and friend are "gamers/game creators" and could fix this site if we could get it. They also used Steam for their games.

The issues with the Lobby and in-game chat not working are still in affect today, 9th March @ 09.45.

I emailed Andrew Jones yesterday but have yet to receive a response.

Say Mark, I would appreciate that if you get in touch with Andrew, my offer to buy is serious - and my guys are qualified to take it over and make it what it could be! :-)

Would be great if they would sell it or at least give the code to the community... sort of what MS did for the Jones brothers for Links2k.

Was the PG rights not sold to Trackman though? If so, they can not sell it again I guess

That's what I thought too... along with Course Forge and Terrain Forge.. the tools needed to create courses.

My understanding is that Trackman bought the game to get the comet trail which is used to track balls on the pro tours. Why would they need the game code? Why couldn't someone buy it from them? I tried a few years back to communicate with them (the company Trackman) asking them the same question. Of course, (pun intended) they never replied to my email.

You don't have to be friends (at least that is my impression) to play with someone else. I think the host of the game can invite someone to play.

I believe Trackman use the PG designer (Course Forge and Terrain Forge) for their simulators. and the courses look very similar to PG. I play the indoor public Trackman simulator in winter. And all the best PG designers were hired by Trackman for creating them.
