Hi,
I played the 3rd round of the tough stuff 9 and it said it was breezy. Every hole for me was 25mph upwards much like the first two rounds.
Is that breezy?
Brian.

Hi Brian,
There are ranges in the wind categories. That sounds like the top of the Breezy range. You could quite possibly see 1mph more and it be classed as Gusty.
Hope that helps.
Andy

sorry to jump on your thread Briso but saves making another.
anyway got a couple questions before i quit this game as just not getting hang of it (maybe too impatient)
wind :how do you guys score well under par with 40mph wind in your face for example i have a 160yd shot how hard do you hit it as me i would only add 10yds ? or a 30mph wind .putting im slowly getting the hang of it other than the angles you have to putt lol.
& lastly are there any tip guides anywhere even looked on you-tube could find nothing. i use 3 click system.
thankyou for reading .
Danny.

Try click late or early for wind to reduce the side wind effect, sometimes can cause problems sometimes helps. Head and tail i just add a bunch or subtract a few depending, i have no magic formula YET.......
Have fun and play well......

if it helps try this formula................15mph is 1 club,so into a 30 mph wind add 2 clubs same as a 30 mph tail wind take off 2 clubs, will need to work a bit with this and your swing, but its the closest i can get and it works well for me.................................thats provided the wind is there and working as not always the case

Danny,
I still don't get it right, but for a 40mph head wind add 2/3 clubs and put dot at bottom. Tailwind is almost harder as the ball bites less on landing even on a ding, but opposite to headwind. For left or right winds, use dot to counteract the wind. It doesn't nullify it totally, but means you're still aiming on the same hole, lol.
Will be around Thurs/Fri more as on hols..so will be in M&G more.
