I'm wondering if anyone has tried setting up computer players to play against.

I set up one, giving 8 points for each skill - and he was unbeatable! I'm looking for the computer player to be scoring between the mid-60's and low 70's. Does anyone know what points setting I should use or will I have to resort to using trial and error?!

Can't say I have ever tried to set one up bob so won't be able to help.

Hopefully someone has had some experience with them.

Try to post this question in the JNPG forums. I know alot of testers setted some players up with different skills.

Bob, try what fungolfer suggested, there was quite a discussion on it, so try to search the forums over on PP and you should find some help.

Try a golfer with settings all at 3 or 4. I was trying to get a bogey golfer, but can't recall if that was all 2 or all 3.

I finally found the results of my quick testing of AI scoring. It seems setting to all 4 or 5 (or some combination) should be close to what you're looking for. Read my findings in this post over at OGT:
