Something not right with this game

Ok I played the 18th at the PGA event and my second shot I go to click the meter and it wont stop on and then when I try to stop it at the bottom the same and ball goes in the water to the left. Ok from there I take a drop and hit it up on the green and have 34 ft left and putt the ball and the same thing happens again and now I am off the green with 3 ft left and all told I take 7 on the hole. WTH is going on and for the last week it seems the game itself is dragging and the meter is really funky. Has anybody else had this happen and I even changed the batteries on my mouse and use a Logitech G602 wireless. When playing RTSM I have not noticed it but at 3C its there. Just wondering.

i to have noticed some changes, can't put my finger on it
but something sure seems different from a week ago.
yesterday while playing the new Chilworth i had 12 stemp set and the putting on that was sure funky
and running more less slugish i would call it.
GB i use the logitec 700s wireless mouse, but i keep it hard wired at all times.
try running hard wired and see if you may be getting a slower response when wireless.

Dave I got a wired Corsair M65 gaming mouse and I will give that a try. Something is causing it and it could be the wireless mouse but then again I have used this same mouse for almost 2 years with no issues until the last week.

GB, are the batteries in the mouse running out of gas?

I thought that also Warren but I changed the batteries before the round and put new ones in. Good thought tho and a reminder to all to change those batteries so often as they do get drained fast.

Sometimes when i go to make my swing, the meter will not stop at the bottom line and go all the way to the right thus the ball goes out of bounds, drives me crazy especially when i have a g8 rd going maybe the golf gods not sure lol....

I saw in another thread somewhere that the player's mouse had developed some bad internal connections.
He went out and bought a new, similar, mouse... problem solved.

Ok I think I just found out the problem and hope this helps some. First I cleaned the optics real good but the big thing I did was go get a new mouse pad and went down to the local shop and got Corsair gaming pad and that seems to have taken care of the issue. Doing some research I found that a worn mouse pad can be a problem with tracking and mine was pretty worn and this seems to have solved the issue. I hope this helps some and sometimes we forget that we have to clean and tune up the clubs in our bag and our club is the mouse and the pad is our fairways and rough so go tune them up.

Glad you found a resolution of sorts Rob. All of the movement swings do require an amount of ongoing maintenance I find. Mouse skids, optics, being aware of contacts (depending on your style of click and hold or click and release), the surface you use (I personally use an artist sketch pad which I can peel a sheet off from when I feel it is starting to present a less than optimal surface, and which gives me the level of resistance I like) and, as others have found, making sure your seating, arm placement and dynamics of movement are not adding to the variables, are all points you have to be aware of. That is what makes the swing so 'connected' rather than the somewhat isolated lack of feel that simply clicking gives you. I'm sure those who click would say its all far too much like work! lol
