Ocean course this week.

Seriously, a 331 yd shot on 7 ? All shots off the fairway or a tee ? Most of the shots in excess of 200 yards ? Why are these being used ? Are developers being asked to redo these things ? I just don't get it.
Totally unimaginative and in part, impossible to score on.

My apologies that this one slipped by... totally my fault and should not have been used.
We play a particular form of closest to the pin, and most set them up just as alternative tees where scoring will ask different questions, so no, we are not asking designers to re-do them, and for the most part we do not see them before release to have any input.

Cheers MiMiC and I apologise for my rant.
This is one of my favourite tourneys and get a bit frustrated. We've had a few courses recently that don't really fit the purpose of the tournament. I lost all the files to my own course so can't go back and have a go at putting challenge tees in myself.
I just see this tournament as a test from all angles, all distances, all lies and employing different shot types as opposed to long driving or a par 3 competition as we had a week or two back. We can only hope more good stuff comes along in the future.

@DP Roberts. Take another look at your splash screen. It still says beta 1_0.
And, please lighten up the contrast of the water. Right now, on my system, it still looks like blue mud.

Warren,
The course this week is the "Great River White"
If you are referring to the "Ocean Course at Kiawah Island" course update it is only to do with the naming and is still a Beta.
