I am having a problem loading current tuff stuff tourney @ Gateway. Crashed game so bad it threw me out of PG completely and immediately put my monitor in sleep mode. I could not get back into the monitor and had to shutdown my computer completely. Also had the same problem with the hazard tournie doing the same thing. I have not had a problem with the 9 hole stableford tourney or the regular 9 hole tourney. Anyone have any ideas what might b going on ??????? thanks. freddy

Have you tried any of the other tournies eg. PGA 9 ?

No-one else has reported to admin of any issues.

Yes, I've been having random crashes for the last month or so. It only happens when I'm playing on Steam.
They (crashes) don't always leave a trail in the event logs. If you search for a fix, I have tried them all with no avail.
It seems to be a memory leak if you Google a fix but that isn't the case on my computer; I have ample memory and still crash.

I did go a week without a crash after I removed Steam and re-installed, but they (crashes) have returned.
Most of the events logs point to one or two Steam drivers.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Perfect Golf\steam_api64.dll

I have several event logs if anyone is interested in reading crash logs.

0xc0000005 is a bit generic. Is it only affecting Steam ?

Hi Mark,

Yes, only on Steam.
Here is another crash with a different violation.

Unity Player [version: Unity 5.2.3f1_f3d16a1fa2dd]

Perfect Golf.exe caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
in module Perfect Golf.exe at 0033:b764bee6.

Error occurred at 2018-07-24_162436.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Perfect Golf\Perfect Golf.exe, run by Randy.
14% memory in use.
32709 MB physical memory [28010 MB free].
77709 MB paging file [71379 MB free].
134217728 MB user address space [134165493 MB free].
Read from location ffffffff caused an access violation.

I don't know what I'm looking for in dump files or how to view them, these are just a part of the error logs.
I could post the whole log but it is a long one.
I'd be happy to send the dump files and logs because the crashes cause me to have a penalty stroke each time and is very frustrating.

I did contact someone from PP but no response like a month ago.

I'm sorry to jump on freddy's post. I hope he can learn from any responses.

To date I've run numerous stress test one lasting a couple hours, I've tested my memory sticks one at a time, I've removed my virus scanner and other malware programs (Malwarebytes) and shut down almost every service I could but no help there, everything tested good and the crashes continued.
I've searched all access violations and stop codes only to find every one can mean 100 different causes.
I've also done a clean install of Win 10 Pro.

Thanks

randy
