unreal shot

ball rolled off fw and into water this is the drop i got.closed game came back to it and resumed, still have this shot

wow i also had a shot after hitting into a hazard and it gave me 2,234 yards ended up with a +11 ruined my rd pga 9 hole 5 rd 3 lol...

my problem is i cant go any further im on 10th shot

not sure about that Les maybe try to talk to an admin, good chance they could restart the rd for you m8, anyway good luck...:)

I dont know why this happens as I'm not a course designer, But when a ball goes into a hazard some designers give u just the one option to rehit the ball from where you last played, that may be from the tee or futher up the fairway. Some designers may give you options like As it Lies or 5yds back, 5 yds forward or others, sometimes included in these options is a false drop, It may be from the sea bed if you have hit your last shot over a cliff into the sea, it may also be from a flat lie that you don't recognise, be warned you just might find yourself stuck in a position that you can't get out of.

Maybe a designer can explain what causes this, I have come up against it many times I am now very cautious on taking drops if unsure choose rehit.

thats ok paul provided you get the option to rehit, if you look at the map the ball is actually in the water. i hit the fairway with my drive but its hard and my ball just rolled off and into the water, the option i took and only option was to drop and thats where i ended up lol
