playing in a tourney when you know you have zero chance of winning(or even coming close) has a real negitive effect on the way i play......
If a limitation isnt introduced into this tourney then i will have to withdraw from it.....

Yea i just play a rd or so to warm up for the real tournies when u are -6 handi and someone is +17 lmao can you believe that there is little chance to even come close to competing i say throw out that tounrie or adjust the handicap,s just not very enjoyable, but Paul does a good job at setting i will say that not to bash him....

Terry,
The player you are referring to has just been assessed his first handicap. In the last PG Classics he was un-assessed. This will now alert us to where he goes from here.
It is of course your prerogative to not take part in PG Classics or any other tourney at PGLS but please check how this came about before deciding it's pointless!

well the facts are mark that it is pointless any ammy hoping to win the classic this time. surely his handicap should be checked before allowing to enter a handicap event? on your advice i have withdrawn from the classic. thx

The person in question has 30 rounds played and the average he has obtained is pretty constant. If someone was going to go to that much trouble to obtain a false high handicap...well that is on them, but it would come down. Looking at the first rounds scores, they all seem pretty low, perhaps he just crushed it?
Edited. apologies.

its not winning its entering an event with the chance of winning andy. not teeing up on the first tee with no chance. well i have had my say and withdrawn so enough from me.
