TGC 19 and Games with Gold (Xbox)

For those with an Xbox...Game Pass is currently running a deal, 3 months for £1. I took the big plunge and then remembered to stop the auto renewal.
Installed TGC2 and jumped in on Amateur and picked a random course expecting a tough time using a controller. I have to admit, the overall feel of the game is good (not talking physics, just the ambience and general look). But...shooting -6 on your first outing on Controller didn't excite me. Yes, there are harder courses, probably tricked up, who knows and there are harder levels, but it seems that it wouldn't take much time to be "mastering" it once the game's physics are learnt.
Will I play any more? Maybe a few rounds, go up the levels to see if is more challenging, but no replacement for JNPG imho. Still get courses and setups here on non tricked up courses to make one think your way around, not all just about max power and sod the direction.
Back to the game pass, F1 2018, Dirt 4, Cities Skyline, Sniper 4 are games I initially downloaded. Even if only for 3 months, seemed a bargain for £1!!
