PGLS

3 out of the 5 rounds have taken place, let's check out the state of play:

DIVISION 1

NIBNOB and Step are out ahead again with NIBNOB not wanting to relinquish his title easily though Step does have 3 points on him and 2 more steady rounds will surley give him his maiden Divisions title. Affo and BlackCat0315 are lurking close behind in 3rd and 4th respectively if Step has an off day. The middle is filled with 5 players separated by 2pts which includes the best place promotee from April - duncanmathieson. With Haesy missing a round and moose63 only playing once, only 1 more spot for relegation looks likely with Often Rong holding that spot currently and in need of a good couple of rounds to stay up.

DIVISION 2

cubbies645 only relegated because of a missed round last month holds top spot after 3 rounds but this division is close with the top 8 having only 6pts between them , so a good round or a slip up by any of these and things will change quite a lot. BadRobot and charlieb are amongst those and are looking for back to back promotions. currently, Stoney and Perculator are in the relegation spots, but they are certainly not too far behind and could finish in the top half easily too!

DIVISION 3

lilpoison has found some form and holds a 5pt lead over Makosha looking for back to back promotions along with skip67 and boxmaker who are 3 of 6 players separated by 1pt and scoops is only 1 further back hoping like roande to bounce straight back to Division 2. DrDeath and terbal missed a round and will find it tough to catch the rest which leaves 1 spot with Blaukraut and Milehigh on the same points currently

DIVISION 4

JMK59, jspirate and ergo76prop and marching up though the leagues together and this month JMK is holding the top spot 4 ahead of the other 2. The final promotion spot is currently pcarr's, but Lefty and roadrunner are close enough to cause problems with a good point score. seaside escaped relegation last month, can he muster up some points to do the same in May? He and Just Jolly are sat in those spots but Wolle is just ahead after having a Tier promotion in May and is adjusting to life at Pro, can he stay above the trap door?

DIVISION 5

The top 4 have got away in this league with JoeMen on top spot with pctyoyo, Chicas and TexasACES all making sure they have an automatic promotion spot behind him.

In Div 6, Hilton is looking to take the title and is 1 ahead of Teaghee and Kimmer1947 at present. In Div 7, Briso is ticking along nicely just3 ahead of norm, the only 2 to have played all 3 rounds.

We go into the final Period of the month and some of the promotion and relegation fights are tight!

DIVISION 1:

Step took a big leap towards winning his first Divisions title as neither Affo nor NIBNOB could make inroads on his lead, in fact it now has stretched to 4 shots and only a complete off day or forgetting to play will let someone else in. Bobfletch has his nose in 4th with the mid table pack now fighting for seeing places for June's Cup draw. At the other end, Often Rong may well be saved as Cestrian missed period 4, or is he??

DIVISION 2:

bpatrick4489 times his run to the top with a best of the whole competition haul of 21pts and propels himself into a 2pt lead over BadRobot65. But there are 4 more within 3 points, so all down to the last round for who goes into Division 1. The bottom end is quite close too. If Sikkum plays a blinder and the others flounder, he may just save himself. Duval needs a good round too with the final relegation spot being a fight between the 4 players I fancy with Perculator the one who needs to lay down the better score.

DIVISION 3:

lilpoison who after 3 rounds looked odds on to go up, saw his lead cut to 3 with stringb, boxmaker111 and scoops100 all outscoring him in round 4. With roande and Makosha close by 2nd to 8th only has 4 pts separating them! The bottom 4 look like the ones to go down after Milehigh left an unfinished round (a pm was sent to check for resume...).

DIVISION 4:

The 3 guys look like getting promoted together again, JMK still holds a good lead, now 5pts over jspirate and ergo76prop. Pcarr232 scored a jt division best to sit in 4th with a nice gad to 5th place. At the bottom, 3pts separated 10th from 14th in this very active division with parman managing to make up a missed round points haul to stand a chance of survival.

DIVISION 5:

The top 3 are well away with Chicas leapfrogging over JoeMen and pctyoyo. TexasACES could have sat nicely in 4th but missed the round but still may get a chance at promotion with a few players dropping out from leagues above.
