PGLS

wondering how many folks we have on here that use a controller?
or folks who would use a controller to play in a Country Club geared towards
Pro and TP levels for the CCs weekly Tourney?

seeing as now we have a heck of a lot of people who are also playing TGC using a controller
thinking about building a fun CC for the pure fun of the game.

if thats you please let me know in this thread

I play Dave but out of action till end of month as I am on vacation. I will be honest tho as have played mostly at TGC due to I can't play controller here in regular events. It is what it is and this is basically a 3C tour and I will get hammered for saying that but I really don't care as the numbers don't lie.

thanks for your input here greens, im trying to put together a new CC and it looks like there just may not be enough
folks interested in a controller CC group using both methods of controller play RTS and the 3c controller method just for fun and to create another weekly tourney. we have lost so many folks to TGC and trying to figure out a way to get some of them back playing the best of the 2 games.
im having a hard time believing the PGA back the TGC game because i like it but if you really look at it TGC is a arcade game where JNPG is more RL
in so many ways. makes one wonder how much money it cost the boys at HB to get the backing of the PGA.

also thinking of including the 3c players in this group, Mark and myself have spent some time discussing how to go about this
but nothing solid has been decided yet so some input from the 3c mouse players would also be a good thing.

more input here would be great any of you other folks talking?? please feel free

The most logical thing to do is allow the controller back into the game and to be honest what's the big deal of doing that as they who play RTS have no chance against the 3C guys so just let everybody play as they want. If they did a lot of players would come back but until then it's TGC.

Trouble is people worry so much about the controller's possible advantages they totally ignore whats difficult about controller. Distance control is much more dialed in with MS or 3C and much harder with controller. They say putting is for dough, and it is. With controller its far from easy to master distance control, u see Lee golfer vids of him dropping 30ft plus putts dead weight with no fear of lipping from the back of the cup, this is much harder to do with controller. This is why a good 3C player will always better a good controller player.

I dont see any point in having another tour with 3 click involved as you will get the same results as the tours on now, however I would be interested in a motion swing / controller only tour.I have recently purchased a controller for TGC and finding it a challenge to say the least in finding a good tempo so far, not sure what the fuss with controller users was about before to be honest.

cant really see the harm in allowing all controller swings back into PGLS tounrey's.......if theres a sudden spike in a players performance then they'll get promoted to TP soon enough( which i imagine would be really tough for a RTS'ers ).....lets have another vote on it (seems like one a week lately)lol

i agree with you 100% THE CONTROLLER FOLKS NEED TO PLAY TO whoops, i have no objection in
allowing the controllers back into the tourneys either.
Les you ought to take over the RTCC. and get it going again. that would bring some of these folks back.

Looks like its time for another poll Mark or maybe you should just reinstate the controllers as it is what is best for the game,and
whats best for the game is more then likely good for the PGLS in the long run.

I can barely handle Pro and at TP I think I would rather shoot myself than play it. No worries about me getting to TP but I sure do have fun trying with a controller.

Dave - you are beating a dead horse - this is a 3 click site plain and simple - if anyone shot a low score with a controller the world would end again
