Multi-partners?

Why in the world would you allow players to play more than once in this tournament? It merely dilutes the competition further than it already is. Might as well not even keep score.

One hack's opinion.

even though im guilty this past week in playing a second time with cubbies
i have to agree with what Perc has to say here. cubbies needed a partner yesterday to get his in and we are friends
so i did play a second time so he could get the tourney in,maybe i should have said no, but as i said we are friends
so i was being friendly. sry if this caused a rift anywhere as Les1959 is my steady partner.

well, there's nothing on these events so why not play again with another partner if you have the time?

Because some people actually enjoy a competitive tournament environment. Not all of us can win 99% of the tourneys they enter. As I said, might as well not even keep score or even have these tourneys if there is absolutely no incentive to do well once in a while.

Doesn't having more pairs make it more competitive? ok, so you could gain a bit of knowledge if you have already played, but it comes down to shots at the time and dings/mouse movements. Why does the incentive to do well disappear?

If there were points on it or whatever, I could understand the need to keep it one appearance only, makes sense.

Just my thoughts on this, that's all.

With all due respect Andy, I don't really expect you to appreciate the thrill of doing well, or winning a tournament once in a while. Old hat for you :).

This policy that allows people to play more than once in the same tourney goes against everything that a competition is supposed to be.

Well Cubs, I almost get the feeling that you, as a competitor, agree with my position on this issue.

NP cubs, it was allowed and i know how you love to play every tourney you can, hard to tell a friend no
i hope Les did not take it the wrong way because im very happy to have him as a regular partner and plan to
keep on keeping on with him. i find the best time in working to get to the top of that leaderboard.
remember when we played it together before i got sick as the Iowa Connection, lol and it only took us a couple of weeks before we won our
first pair up that was cool. now Les and i have already won the handicap figuring Andy does the first week we played together. now the fun part comes getting to the top in straight scoring that is what i find the funnest part of this is working towards that.
