I know it's hard to be passionate without news but unfortunately this is the situation we find ourselves in. Just a reality check though for those who were not around prior to PG1. I heard many people say back then that it would never happen and that it was just vaporware..........................................and then it was released.

That's honestly probably the most hopeful sign that PG2 exists that we've yet seen.
The mere fact Mike actually said anything like that in a PG2 thread is indicative of some smoke to that fire..
But - I still wouldn't count on anything around that in 2019.

I don't see it happening - I don't see any monetary gain - unless it's full of adds - google etc.

hot air. maybe a rethink now that the golf club is taking over. Mind you the golf club missed a trick by not including 3 click they would have doubled their sales.

I think RobV sort of nailed it..
I think Mike had been at the pub and felt like popping off a bit honestly..
I'm sure there's a newer trackman sim version of PG in the works for eventual release, but I see no reason at all that Trackman will let that be something we get on the old PG1 PC only (no simulator hardware) side.
After all, we aren't getting even the option to purchase any of the new courses for PG1 that they've been releasing either.
I think we are what we are and this is it.
Thank goodness for the 3rd party course designers or this would be total abandonware already I think (sadly).
I love the game - but even I would probably have moved on if all we had were the stock courses.

Andrew stuck his head in to comment on the forum being down. Mike came into the forum and commented on something separately, but apparently his text showed he was totally sh!tfaced. Two recent posts that honestly could have been skipped in a dooms-day scenario, but were not.
LOL,I hope Mike and Andrew are following this stuff and that it gives them as good a laugh as it gives me!
Sorry, I am not trying to say I know better than anyone. Heck, I'll be the first to admit that I am as clueless as the next guy when it comes to PG2. It just tickles me good
