JNPG NOT LOADING! HELP.

For a week now JNPG has not been able to load after clicking on the game play icon. Sometimes it loads past the intro screens but never gets to the home page. Other times it never loads to an intro screen at all. One thing that happens before the game turns to black screen and freezes is the screen flashes red for a fraction of a second. Then, I am logged out of my computer user login after around 15 seconds and have to start from scratch. The game, however, needs to be canceled out or forced quite as it stays open in black screen mode in the background. I can say that I checked all my other games and they all load and play perfectly well. Also, I have checked the files for JNPG through steam, uninstalled the game and reinstalled it(many times), as well as uninstalled Steam and reinstalled it; All to no avail. Any suggestions? I have newer computer 2017 with the latest operating system updates installed.

i had to reinstall windows to get it to work again after removing it a while back.
do a reinstall where you save your personal files and i bet you get it back. big PITA
but it worked for me.

you can try opening steam/library/games/right click on jnpg/properties/local files/click verify integrity of local files/wait a bit and see if steam updates anything

If you still have PG installed, firstly close it anyway you can and find the following file …

\Steam\steamapps\common\Perfect Golf\Perfect Golf_Data\output_log.txt - It may just show output_log for you.

Delete it, then run PG again. When it fails to load find the above file and attach it here please.

This is all I have in that folder Mark. All other suggestions I have tried. Thank for all your guy's help.

Ah sorry I didn't realise you played PG on a Mac.

Is that file in any other folder?

Also you said you uninstalled PG, but the "RecordedRounds" folder is dated July 29th. When you uninstalled PG did you check for the existence of the "Perfect Golf" folder under the "common" folder and deleted it if it was there before re-installing.

I don't know, I can get to after the start up developer screens and when the home page is supposed to come up there then comes the red screen of death and I am logged out of my computer. I'm starting to believe it is a developer issue with keeping up with os updates. I have deleted all files pertaining to pg on my computer and reinstalled steam and the game itself.

Do you know any other Mac users who play PG.

Might be worth checking with them or at the very least posting on the PP forums.
