Cypress Landing 3DG

Had an issue on hole #5.
There is a tree that overhangs the FW on the left side.
My T shot landed 50 yds short of it.
My second shot hit the tree, and while I don't have a problem with that, the ball went right after hitting it and went 200yds right to OB.
Might want to look at the collider properties.

Thanks'

So... in Course Forge/Perfect Golf the tree colliders are basically a sphere. As a designer I have a few options:
1. I could remove the collider/sphere and make it like there is no tree there at all (even tho you see it)
2. I could make the collider smaller so that the ricochet is more likely to move the ball forward instead of sideways
3. I could leave it as is

Sorry, I don't mean to be harsh, but I put that collider there for a reason. Its a tight hole on purpose. Either you hit the tee shot to the right or you have to play around the tree when your tee shot goes left.

Mark - with that said, maybe its best to remove Cypress Landing from tournament play. There are plenty of other courses out there that can be used.

Was not really a criticism....I don't know how the design works.
I think it is fair to leave the tree there, as it's crazy on some courses to have what I call "trees that are not real".
I did try to play it around the tree, but thought it was unreasonable to hit it and go 200yds to the right OB.
Like I said my fault for playing it there, and except the consequences.

Thanks for the response.

I didn't get your posted sht file to play back at first, but I've seen it now. That bounce was harder than it should be, so I will take a look at it. I suspect that the incorrect material was assigned to the collider.

Cypress Landing 3DG V2 has been released.

Fix:
- collider material on a tree on hole 5 was incorrect. The material was removed and it now plays as intended.

Thank you Charlieb for taking the time to share the sht file and experience.
