Why now Beta Courses?

I'm wondering that now Beta Courses would used in the PGA tournaments. What's the reason for? Mark told us that Beta Courses never be used in the PGA Tournaments and i personal totaly agree with this. Hope this is only a Mistake and didn't happens again!

this course was recently brought out of beta but it may have beta still in the title due to the designer
no longer has the files and the name was not changed, so this course is not in beta and considered a final.

Hi Dave, if they play ok jut use them as is, I have no projects on my drive now so they are now kinda forced finals..good luck.
