As the title says this is a Poll to decide whether to make the PairUp 9 tourney PairUp 18 or leave it as it is.

The Poll will last for 7 days and as always you can change your vote.

18/72 holes of scramble is too much......keep it to alt or greens then its ok....

My first reaction was to make it 18, but then I consider the difficulty coordinating with my partner for double the amount of time. Also, I think 18 would limit other players for the same reason, and I would rather see more teams playing in Pair Up as there are not enough at this time IMO.
Based on that, I'd vote to stay at 9 and try to get more teams involved.
Then revisit the question in 6 months.

why wait 6 months tony we have been playing it as 9 holes since the war. its the only event on here (apart from ssc) that gets people playing with someone else. I know most on here play solo i can understand that as it is a much easier game when played like that. no names but there are some on here that are just not interested in any change. be nice to know with all these poles how many who voted actually play the subject event?

I did play the pairs for a while, but no way could I find time for 18 holes of it, would guess the numbers would drop (which are consistently at about 20-30 players currently for 9 holes) as double the time is needed?

My favorite event, but please keep it at 4x9. Thanks.

ah well you can only suggest things and i must admit if you only want to play a 10min game perhaps solitaire might be good

We have I new 18 hole competition starting in the new year, I think making a 9 hole into an 18 hole as well could be a step too far.

not a 18 hole pairs anywhere to be seen.get rid of the silly classic and replace it with a 18 hole pairs.
