elite tour pro tournament

There are some playing the tours and the tour pro elites wrecking the leadearboards each week. How about giving the golfers that are playing tour pro a tourney without them. If you look at the competition the same guys always up there. Hats off well played guys but there is a bunch below them maybe 15-20 players within a fews shots/scores between themselves not the elite , it would make a good competion and i suggest if the winner wins he moves up to the elite . Plays bad after a few then drops down.. Just a suggestion as take away the top guys on tour pro the rest of the field is pretty well balanced/competitive. It would give us all an earning to try compete with big boys .And an enjoyment playing tour pro we can have a good competition within ourselves. On a side note i dont want the elites to have less players but it would be good for us tour pros just below you to try to make it to your level.
Thoughts?

I can see the reasoning behind the poster's point. I have joined the new tour, and I fully expect the same top players to always be on top of the leader board. Here's the deal...if another class of tour was created, then those same players would simply be on top of THAT tour. And all of the players that usually finish close would then finish on top of the next tour. PGLS could create tours and tiers until they were blue in the face, but the only thing that will change who is on top is by the rest of us improving our game. We can't all be Tiger, Rory, Justin, Brooks, (you get the idea), but sometimes Bob, Harry, or Ted wins one too...either because the big boys had a bad day, or the underdogs played over their heads...etc. Personally, I don't think more tours is the answer...these guys have enough to run as it is.

Which has a gross and net leaderboard...and Terry is correct, it does seem that the lowest handicappers don't play this event much.

The current system already covers this and players at different levels get their winning trophy if they outscore those on the same level.

Those of us who have placed top overall in the past have earned those wins by beating the rest. Is it not fair to expect you to do the same or would you prefer to be handed that win ?

I don't post much, but I will here.
Every week I finish in the bottom 10-15% of the Tour Pro's and generally (not always) finish in the bottom half 'overall'. When I joined PGLS I requested to be put at The Tour Pro level, and was granted. I have no problem with those guys winning 'nearly' every week and the system more than caters for all levels of players to compete, in fact i really don't think a further Tourny is required just to ensure that everyone gets a prize. We should just love to compete and I wouldn't go dropping those elite from where they are right now. It's not about winning.

NB My course design sucks as well.
Jim.
