Handicap?

So, I shot -5 for each of the first two rounds, and the leaderboard shows I am -1. So I checked and find somehow I have a -4 handicap. Where the heck did that come from? Last week it was -1. Is there somewhere I can check my handicap history?
I am also under the impression a 4 handicap should GIVE me 4 strokes. Who has ever heard of a MINUS handicap?

real top pro's are rated as a - handicap

Remember, it is your best 12 from last 24 rounds that count and I can see you have had some very good rounds in there when other players struggled. Should be happy, game is definitely improving!

Really, didn't know that. I guess I never paid attention to whether or not tour pros have a handicap, and what it is. That said, I assure you,
I'm no real top pro.

i was curious so i looked at Flops handicap chart round 22 has him at -11 but on that round scorecard he even par 71...im i missing something here?
Handicaps give me a headache

The average score for that round was gross 81 Mark, so his excellent 71 was -10 the Competition Scratch score.
