Hi all....been a while since our last poll.

A simple question, just wondered what people prefer to play.

9 holes (for time for example)
18 holes (for realism for example)
or no real preference

You don't have to comment, but if you want to, feel free. Gives something for people to read when visiting!

I like 9 hole events.

For me, time is of importance, but also, 9 hole events lead to closer leaderboards and bigger chances of someone breaking through.

I picked no preference. as I'm retired and got all the time in the world.
i keep all my notifications each week from Monday to Sunday to see how many tourney rounds I have played that week
this week was 44 and "I'm in the 40s every week so if someone says they can't find tourneys to play, they just ain't looking.

i prefer 18 gives you time to repair score.like real golf. but as im not a solo player and 99% are 18 will never happen.

I prefer 18. It feels more like tournament golf. It is more real to me.

I like both... dont always have time for 18 so choice of 9 is good. have not voted because no vote for both

I would have liked to have seen one more option and that would be a little bit of both. I play many rounds with my partner CharlieB. We usually play 18 and then another 9 holes each night when we are available. I will vote no preference for now. One more note. Currently there are 14 tours, eight 9 hole weekly and one 3 days and one 5 days. 18 hole tournaments are two weekly, one by-weekly and one once a month. So 18 hole tournaments are really in the minority so not sure why the voting.

9 holes for me,its a time thing

I like the choice and variety of tournaments we have here. But I can also understand that time available can be a factor for some people too.
And then as Terbal commented in a 18 hole game if you get away to an ordinary start you have more holes to try and repair your score - hopefully.
