your ball becomes a nature lover and goes for a wander among the trees
your ball likes to play hide and seek in the tall grass
your ball goes back to it's childhood and likes rolling down slopes
your ball likes frolicking in the sand
your ball decides your drive was so hot it goes for a dip in the water
your ball tracking nicely to the hole suddenly veers off at the last moment so it doesn't fall in and hurt itself

But in the end you forgive it and play another round because it is just a fun game

And we all have good days and bad days - so just enjoy it

You should title this little homage "Ode To The Dimpled Sphere Of Continuance"....
