To encourage more players to play together in tourneys how about awarding 1 shot for every round you play with someone else....

id say its about 50/50(paired/solo) for me

I have found the best way to take advantage of online golf and playing with other people is through programs like Teamspeak or Discord. Having casual conversation along with in game banter while playing makes the experience more enjoyable in my opinion. Not unlike having a foursome out on a real course. I have added the PGLS Discord server to my list, but every time I go in there, it is empty, save for Seasider sitting in the Admin-Private-Area. Having been a member at OGT since it's inception, Teamspeak (and ultimately Discord) is where I made new friends in this game. I and a couple of my buds plan on starting to use the PGLS Discord rooms when OGT's room goes dark next week. In short, to encourage multi-player rounds, be they match play or competitive stroke rounds in tournament play, or ladder matches, or just pick-up games, I suggest more use of the Discord rooms. It is almost a given that anyone in there at any time would be playing along with another or looking for a game. I would not be a fan of changing a golf score for playing a multi-player round. It is too much like being penalized for playing alone. And I would certainly be opposed to changing a score in a tourney round because of playing multi-player. Just one man's opinion.

I agree Rick i would love to be a part of someones life but as to the truth i find so much misconception and deceivement, tuff to open open up to another without the discord of judgement, and the meaning of him to be mislead into a a place of anxiety, as to a person u have to understand the differences are a plus and use them a strength, if u would like i believe we can connect to that affect, maybe a tad bit off topic nut a point has been made thank you for your reply, think outside the box and you will be rewarded,

not a big fan of discord, just something about I don't like.
I think back when PGLS had a teamspeak server it was used a lot more then the discord room has been used.
I use the teamspeak at the Caddyshack when playing the pair up with Stan the past few weeks and have had much enjoyment.
to be honest, though I don't want to voice chat with everyone I play with some folks are just not much fun on VC. and they every now and then you run across the guy preaching the scriptures had it happen a few times and what a drag, then ya got the drinkers who what to talk about how much they have had to drink and most of the times that ends up being a silly bunch of crap. then you get those fella's who cant chat and play at the same time then it takes forever to get a round in. voice chat is good but it does have drawbacks. I got to agree with Rick though no altering of the scores should be done to play with another during tourneys. I also think if the PGLS had a teamspeak server it would get more use then the discord but it is not free. the last teamspeak server I do believe belonged to a member who allowed the players from the PGLS to use it. and then you just get back to the thing some folks are not here to be social just play the game.

Lmao blah blah blah what a fff hypocrite and the days u tasted this oh my i forgot but u are a friging saint now so lets judge everyone else as u are the father, so far off the line i am astonished as the hypocrisy and the idiocy of such a comment as to forget the past of ones way, i fall off my chair u are the king of those who cant play and chat, u comment on them and forget your own indiscretion and put a halo upon your head, these are the the sheep u need to watch, being social is alot more then a idea it takes to promise of many things to accomplish, a path and identity of yourself and the reflection of ones failure,s throughout a belief we need a bar or level we can guide a path to bond upon life journeys, for no man or women is perfect but we can strive form the best possible outcome to achieve such a belief, we are all human with many faults but can stand above this..

Hi This is seasider47in real life Paul, I'm now 72 and as you would expect retired lol. Spend my time reading, listening to music (mainly oldies 50s to 80s) and playing games (CIV6 gathering storm and Ticket to Ride online) Love playing online golf which I started way back in Leaderboard games and Links, I'm not the dikctator as some try to make out just because I didnt agree to Players choosing there own level in the PGLS Tours (because i'm competive and felt it unfair for players who have proven themselves capable of out scoring every one else in one level moving back down to outclass and out play members not so capable. I enjoy playing on line with other PGLS members, am easy to get on with and use Discord. would welcome a game with any member with or without discord (lol but do hate typing)
Would love to see the PGLS Meet and Greet used by more players
