When you are at the PG Public site before play and after why does the leader board show players as unknown until you hit my player? You have to do this for each page of the current tournament you are searching.

It's never been very quick at populating the correct names and I agree, if you click 'My Player' or the directional arrows it also seems to help the situation.

The leaderboard information you see does come from PGLS when PG requests it but PG just takes its time processing it.

I circumvent this issue by using my Steam Friends List to see who is on and playing PG. I find it easier and more accurate.

It’s also worth pointing out that the names on the in-game leaderboards are the players Steam names and not their PGLS ones.

This is why it’s a lot easier to use your Steam name as a username at PGLS.
