We currently have 16 three par courses. Would anyone like to see a weekly tournament using these courses. It could last 48 weeks which means each course would be played 3 times.

I would like to see them used for anything but stroke or stableford rounds. i.e. Skills and Hazard. I've lost interest in stroke format rounds. It's been a long journey since the first golf game for PC. Stroke is fundamental golf. I'd like to see something "else" done with the courses as suggested above. Others may have some fun fun ideas as well.

got to agree here with crusher stroke has gotten rather boring for me also.
Hazard would not be that good a sand shot then green and then a putt.
skills might work if we played it in the skills distance mode, rather then the skills points mode.

Been thinking the same. Just only a few MOP's that are for single play unless someone knows of more. I know we talked of 7 club rounds but unfortunately Mark said not possible with the way PG is set or maybe issue is with steam. That MOP was fun and challenging. At least 3 par you leave most of the woods in the bag. With links, if I remember correctly, you could make up your on MOP. If you noticed, I am trying to make survivor a tad more interesting by using different T's per round. I received no negative comments so guess everyone is okay with that.

There was a mop in Links that was a lot of fun, it was called Australian Hogan. Mike and I (mostly Mike) worked on a version for PG. Had it all worked out, everything except for one big flaw. It is a points game, FW in reg +1, miss FW -1 -- hit green in reg +1, miss green in reg -1 etc etc, was a really great mop with a lot of movement. The problem here was if you hit green on par 3 it would not recognize it as a GIR. I do believe Mike brought the issue up with Mark and it could not be resolved and so it was dropped. Shame.
