The July Gold and Silver Cups didn't get set up with the change over of admin from Andy to Alan. If they had, these would have been the results with the new seeding qualification being total point from previous month inclusive of all divisions.

What the new qualifying process means: all you need to do to qualify is play as many of the weeks as possible to accumulate points (seeding by max points). It doesn't matter what division you're in, even feeder. We're all playing the same course under the same conditions, so your score gets equal weight weather you're division 1 or 7. It's an open Cup available to playing members, not just those in the database.

I don't mean to be rude but what is the point of the gold and silver cups?

It looks like someone has too much time on their hands.

Adds to the point of playing if you are into these things. You might not win your league or get promoted, but you may still be in the Cup and can get to the final with some good rounds at the right time. People in general like to win things...notice it's not the usual suspects in the finals, great to see.

Bit of fun.

We all fill our own time with whatever interests us.
