Love Playing This Game But ......

I do love playing this game which has a great variety of tournaments and hats off to the very talented course designers ... BUT
Things that bug me are :
Bogey (or worse) on the first hole and then I repeat it on the last hole.
Shots that land on the edge of the green then go sideways 50, 60, 70ft down a steep enbankment
And at No. 1 is
PLUGGED IN THE SAND !!!!!

#1 Down a steep embankment and when you hit the front of the green and balls rolls back 60 yards. #2 plugged in sand but mostly when it happens on FW drive. #3 Flop shots from the rough that go about 10% distance on a perfect snap.

This is sounding like a 1980's text adventure:
"You are standing in an open field west of a white house, with a boarded front door. There is a small mailbox here."
#1 You've chipped into a bunker and it's plugged. WTF! Don't get me started on the PG's sudo-physics for this.
#2 You've pitched to an elevated green and the ball takes off like it's rocket propelled?
#3 The wind - i've said enough already. I've actually posted a sheet of the correct physics over at PG's forum.
#4 Where is my Career mode ? It's on my PC being constructed.
#5 What's the reference I quoted? Upon seeing this, what would you type into the text parser?

Just had one of those
Ball bounced on the edge of the green and rolled 78 yds back down the fairway - INTO A BUNKER
Had to hit backwards to get out
Then hit to the green with a similar result - ball rolled back down the green 74 yds into the rough
From the rough the next shot landed just on the edge of the green rolled slightly to the left and into a deeper bunker and right up against the wall
Eventually holed out with a quadruple bogey.
One of those days I guess.

Hitting a perfect drive between trees, which then hits an invisible branch and ricochets out of bounds.

was it not you that gave PP the wind?
then they only implemented a portion of the model you gave them?
I am thinking that was you even though I may be wrong. it was you I went over to PP and searched out all the old wind
posts. was kinda fun reading back through them again. it is really too bad PP did not use the entire wind model you figured out for them
I have a feeling it would be a much better game if they had.

guilty...good memory, Dave.
I also gave them a proper plugging model, but got no response. This is my real area of expertise - sand and soil ballistics modeling.
I have a feeling that the new GSPro simulator software is using some of my physics models, also. I store these on the old Recorded Rounds Mega site and told Vance to help himself to anything useful. I hope he took full advantage.
Who is going to answer my question #5?
