Curved Monitor

I have been exploring curved monitors. The one I am looking at is 3440x1440 resolution with 21:9 aspect. Anyone own a curved monitor that could tell me how they like it? How PG looks? The brand name? If not a curved monitor, if you have a 4k monitor would also like same type of information. I currently have a Samsung 32" with a 2550 X 1440 resolution. Any help would be appreciated.

If possible the best way to experience a curved or extra wide monitor is to visit a tech-store near you and stand in front of it. Or, if they have a demo setup to a computer you can use some of Windows features or watch a video on the monitor.

I personally don't like a curved monitor, I think they are just another marketing ploy. I did my research as stated above and used three of them at 24 and 27 inches wide. Didn't tickle my fancy.

If you do a search on the Net for "professional gamers monitor choices" you'll find that most all of them use 24" LCD, NT 1920 x 1080 screens with 1ms (or less) response time. I like the 27" for this game and video editing.

Having said that, none of us are professional games and having an emersive and highly detailed virtual golf experience is the priority.

I use this Acer monitor.

I never liked the curved monitors or TV's. Think it was a useless gimmick. I have 3 monitors hooked up to this computer. A ASUS 24" gaming monitor. A ASUS 27" gaming monitor and SAMSUNG 51" plasma TV also connected as a monitor. I play the game on the 27".
