I and many others have been looking forward to the day that this second season of the PGLS Tour gets underway. We are all feeling under some form of pressure at this moment, due to the pandemic that has hit the world or the jobs and financial crisis that has followed on from the pandemic. Also by the games developers who have deserted us and have put the game into crisis, so in a way I see this tour as a challenge. This year could be a game changing year for me, I am close to being moved up to Pro level, it will hit me hard at first but I am prepared to see it has a new challenge and make it work.
So I have opened this post to save my progress through the season, to record the highs and lows of each round so that I can look back on what I have done and achieved.. I am hoping to tee of this morning and hoping I can get a positive score on a course I enjoy playing.
Please feel free to add anything from your games too.. This is not just about me... I believe this Tour can make a difference to the future of PG and the support it gets
LET THE GAMES BEGUINe....GOOD LUCK ALL

Looking forward to defending my 2020 "title" but see a tough defence with everyone improving and playing less myself so not so game sharp any more.
Plus the addition of some new players from the old OGT Tour who on their day can win a week.
Which weeks will I appear on the US Tour????
Good luck to all.

Why can't you save your progress privately?
I,m sure if anyone is interested in how you progress they will look you up.
Why don,t you just ask to be moved to pro?

Been really looking forward to this and am so impressed by all the great work done to set it up.
For my part I've set myself up a spiffy looking spreadsheet where I can record all my scores and compare them to last year's efforts.
Only an Amateur and average golfer but I think slowly improving but I just want to try and do better each time and learn from my mistakes (or poor play)
Everyone please keep up your support for this great game and stay safe

I have played the links course many times and like it. Wide fairways offer no difficult and the course usually offers the opportunity to play well and for 90% of the game I did ok. Care must be taken with some holes with dry holes surround the greens. It wasnt till 17 that I found problems after rolling left off the green into one of the dried up water hazards, a miss hit pitch going through the green left me with a difficult chip and Putt and finally reorded a 7. A bogey on the 18 and what at first looked like a level start to round 1 ended with dissappoint and a +4 score.
Having never played Leopard Creek before I didnt know what to expect. tried to play cautiously and thanks to the par 5 picked up a few birds. the Highlight for me was the 18, after a good drive I decided to shoot for the wide part of the green and hit a perfect 3 wood to give me to putts for a bird. Finishing score after 2 rounds -1 and very satisfied.
Round 3 at the Links. The course is long but I find not too difficult as long as you stay out of the deep bunkers and the water hazards often found just running in front of the green. Unforetunately I found both in Hole 3 and incured a double bogey. Once again hole 17 was a problem hitting my drive short and landing in the dry ditch in front of the green and once again I ended up with a double bogey and again lost a shot on the 18th. Thankfully I had some success in between and managed to end as level par for the course. I'd settle for an even par tour for the first even so lets see what the final round does
Final round completed and am satisfied I finished even for the round because after 9 holes I was +5. The bunkers are steep and its not always possible to hit forward to get out. But slowly I began to reduce my deficite on the second 9. I'm satisfied to at least finish level par for the first tour. Thanks to Alan and John for the getting this game started There choice of courses for tour 1 was great.
