PGLS - a look back through the years - Season 1 Summer 16

As many of you know, I have a keen interest in numbers and stats and while here in lockdown in the UK and being stuck working from home, I thought i'd do some pieces on the history of the PGLS events and I have combined the events and incorporated an ELO (something you guys know I have done before) rating system which I have altered over time to give a good a rating system as my intelligence allows!
So here goes...3rd June 2016 and the first "Official" PGA9 was created in the first Season...Summer 2016. The first 5 weeks were used as a testing station to make sure everything worked smoothly and the 1st week saw a field of 9 start the event and MiMic was the first winner. The next 4 weeks saw only a few playing but it gave me a starting point for the overall PGLS ELO rankings*.
*Everyone starts with a value of 1500 and this changes based on every round played in a PGLS event. Your score is compared to each individual competitor as a "match" with your starting rating for the week used to determine how many points each person, gained or lost in each "match". The bigger the difference between the rating, the less points are won or lost, the bigger the difference in strokes, the more points are won or lost
Things started getting serious on week 6 (8th July 2016), when a field of 22 started the PGA9 event. 6 of those players are still active today, 4 and a half years later! Again, MiMic was the victor and had claimed No1 in the rankings.
Week commencing 22nd July 2016, the PGA9 was joined by the PGA18 event and by now PGLS was on the map, 41 players started the PGA9 this week and 38 teed up for PGA18. The first winner of the PGA18? richybro01 who was to become a force early on and still plays on occasion. BladeRunner was also a winner in this Season and became the only player to be a 100% winner, eventually playing 21 events, victorious in every one!
August 1st saw another new event, the monthly Open whose first winner was Brendan often a partner for richybro01 today in the pairs event!
With the Summer 16season coming to a close, 17 events had been completed.
